In School Programs - Grant funding through the Workforce Investment Board provides CIS Dropout Prevention Project Coordinators in six high schools in Fayette County and eleven high schools  and a career tech in Westmoreland County. Other grant funding provides services for one high school and one elementary school in Greene County. These Site Coordinators offer services to at-risk youth such as academic tutoring, attendance, and behavioral issues within the school setting.

Out of School Programs- The Dropout Recovery Program, funded by the Workforce Investment Board, assists high school dropouts from Southwestern Pennsylvania re-enrolling in classes to complete required credits for their diploma. Students are given the opportunity to voluntarily complete their computer-based curriculum in subject areas that fulfill required credits for their high school diploma. Over forty students have completed the program and graduated with the numbers steadily increasing each year.
